Use the comparison carefully
A cheap overnight home tariff and frequent home charging can make an EV far cheaper per mile. Regular motorway rapid charging can narrow or reverse that difference. Likewise, real MPG can be lower than a brochure figure in short or congested trips.
UK MPG means imperial gallons.
The calculator converts one imperial gallon to 4.54609 litres. Do not enter a US MPG figure without converting it.
