Every number needs
a market and a date.
China Car Brief is an independent prototype for UK buyers. It does not accept manufacturer payment for ranking, inclusion or favourable wording.
Exact trim and market
A model name alone is not enough. Battery, power, wheels and range can change by trim and country. European data is visibly labelled when UK confirmation is pending.
Claims are not tests
WLTP range and advertised charging times are manufacturer laboratory claims. Independent measured results must be described as tests and never silently blended with official figures.
Unknown stays unknown
If a current UK price or specification cannot be verified, the field remains blank or says “confirmation pending”. We do not infer a UK value from another market.
Labels used on the site
- UK audited
- Matched to a named current UK manufacturer source and exact reference trim.
- Europe spec
- Published by the manufacturer for Europe but not yet matched to the current UK order material.
- Reference price
- A dated list price or trim price, not a guaranteed transaction price or finance offer.
- Planning estimate
- A calculator result based on user inputs and disclosed assumptions—not a quotation or journey guarantee.
Corrections policy
Material errors should be corrected in the page itself, with its reviewed date updated. A changed manufacturer price is not treated as wrongdoing; the site should state the date of the replacement figure. Commercial relationships, if introduced later, must be disclosed beside the affected link or placement.
