Chinese electric car warranties in the UK: comparison checklist

Long warranty headlines are attractive, but the useful comparison is the complete UK policy for the exact model: vehicle cover, traction battery, capacity threshold, mileage and exclusions.

Build a four-line comparison

Record the general vehicle warranty, traction-battery defect cover, battery-capacity promise and roadside assistance separately. Do not combine them into one “up to” headline.

Confirm the UK document

Global and European pages may publish different terms. Use the current UK warranty booklet or written manufacturer confirmation and note the publication date. A dealer summary is useful, but it should not replace the policy.

Check support as well as duration

A long warranty is most valuable when diagnostics, parts and authorised repair capacity are accessible. Before ordering, identify the nearest service location, booking route and recovery process.
